The CO2web Observatory is an initiative promoted and managed by the Environmental Ethics Chair: "University of Alcalá" within the framework of its research and dissemination activities for the conservation of the environment.
The Environmental Ethics Chair was created in 2013 from the mutual interest of both institutions in research and education on the philosophical and theological roots of environmental conservation. Its main lines of action are:
- The study of consumer habits and the promotion of responsible consumption.
- Environmental education and sustainability in university teaching.
- The contribution of the great religions to environmental conservation.
We have tried to provide this observatory with a didactic character, which serves a wide variety of users, maintaining the scientific rigor that should be the basis of any rigorous analysis of the environmental impact of our activities. The data that has been included here comes from sources of all scientific solvency, reflecting the best knowledge that we now have about CF from our activities.
